About Battery Gurus
The product was invented in the 1990s by a Czeck scientist and specialist in batteries. With significant investments in research, development, improvement and testing by a Slovakian enterprise the product was market ready by 2002. It was then that Akuros s.r.o. was established in Slovakia to file patents for the product internationally and organise the manufacturing and production of PowerBatt, PowerBatt Plus and PowerBatt Marine.
Akuros s.r.o. was renamed Battery Gurus s.r.o in 2006. Established in Bratislava, Slovakia after a decade of development and testing of the innovative solution for reconditioning of lead acid batteries, Battery Gurus aims to become a recognised name/brand in the regeneration and maintenance of lead acid batteries. With proven products that improve and prolong the life of a battery, the company is in a position to service many industries including power, oil and gas, materials handling, transport and military.
In 2008, Battery Gurus appointed Worktown Future Energy (part of the Worktown Group) to create a Global Distribution Network encompassing exclusively 100+ countries. WFE will therefore provide the coverage and support that is necessary throughout the world to make industries part of a sustainable environmental programme through extending the life and improving the capacity of lead acid batteries.
